Yugrow and its affiliates (“Yugrow,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”) value the privacy of individuals who use our website and related services (collectively, our “Services”). This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and share information from or about Yugrow users (“Users”) or their devices. By using our Services, you agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and procedures this Privacy Policy describes. Beyond the Privacy Policy, your use of our Services is also subject to our Terms of Use.

Information We Collect

We may collect a variety of information from or about you or your devices from various sources, as described below.

If you do not provide your information when requested, you may not be able to use our Services if that information is necessary to provide you with our Services or if we are legally required to collect it.

A. Information You Provide to Us.

Registration and Profile Information. When you sign p for an account, we ask you for your name email address, city, and phone number, along with any other information you elect to provide us.

Payment Information. When you make a payment, a third party service provider that handles payments for us will receive your payment card information.

Communications. If you contact us directly, we may receive additional information about you. For example, when you contact us for support, we may receive your name, email address, phone number, the contents of your message or attachments that you may send to us, and other information you choose to provide. If you subscribe to our newsletter, then we will collect certain information from you, such as your email address.

Careers.

If you decide that you wish to apply for a job with us, you may submit your contact information and your CV online. We will collect the information you choose to provide on your resume, such as your education and employment experience.

B. Information We Collect When You Use Our Services.

Location Information.

When you use our Services, we infer your more general location information (for example, your IP address may indicate your more general geographic region).

Other third parties. We may receive additional information about you, such as demographic data, from third parties such as data or marketing partners and combine it with other information we have about you.

How We Use the Information We Collect

We use the information we collect from or about you or your devices:

To provide, maintain, improve, and enhance our Services;

User Support on using the Yugrow App

How to delete your Yugrow account :

Step 1: Login to Your Account

Start by logging into your Yugrow account with your credentials.

Step 2: Navigate to the Profile Page

On the home screen, locate the profile page in the top left corner.

Step 3: Click on Account Information

Once you're on your profile page, find and click on the "Account Information" option.

Step 4: Find the Delete Account Button

Inside the Account Information section, you'll see a "Delete Account" button. Click on this button.

Step 5: Confirmation Prompt

A confirmation prompt will appear, asking if you're sure you want to delete your account.

Step 6: Confirm the Action

Confirm your decision to delete your account, and your data will be permanently deleted.

Note: Once your account is deleted, all your data will be permanently removed, and this action cannot be undone. Please make sure you have backed up any important information before proceeding.

Use of Google Health Connect


Yugrow uses Google Health Connect to read steps cadence records and steps records from your fitness tracker. This allows us to give you insights into your steps data and reward you for moving and reaching certain steps targets on a daily basis.


Yugrow qualifies for the following Google Health Connect categories:


Fitness and Wellness:

Applications that allow users to track their fitness / wellness and progress to their goals using phone sensors, manual journalling or participating in digital classes and guided sessions.

Rewards:

Applications that encourage users to adopt and maintain healthy habits in exchange for financial rewards.


When you connect Yugrow to your fitness tracker, you will be asked to grant Yugrow access to your steps data. You can revoke this access at any time by going to the Google Health Connect settings on your device.


Yugrow will not sell or share your steps data with third parties without your consent. We will only use your steps data to provide you with the services you have requested and to improve our products and services.


We take the privacy of your data seriously. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Intergration with Google - Limited Use Policy

We have integrated the App with services provided by Google to: (a) enable you to sign in to the App using your existing Gmail ID; and/or (b) provide insights and analysis of your health. To this end, please note that any collection, storage, use and/or transfer of your data that is received from:


1. Google API will, at all times, adhere to Google API Services User DataPolicy including the limited use requirements prescribed therein; and

2. The use of information received from Health Connect will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions policy, including the Limited Use requirements


How We Share the Information We Collect

Affiliates. 

We may share any information we receive with our affiliates for any of the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Vendors and Service Providers. 

We may share any information we receive with vendors and service providers retained in connection with the provision of our Services.

Third Party App Integrations. 

If you connect a third party application to our Services, we may share information with that third party.

Social Networks and Other Online Services. 

Our Services allow you to, upon your direction, share information with social networking services, such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. You understand and agree that the use of your information by any social networking websites will be governed by the privacy policies of these third party platforms and your settings on that platform. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.

Analytics Partners. 

We use analytics services such as Google Analytics to collect and process certain analytics data. These services may also collect information about your use of other websites, apps, and online resources. Advertising Partners. 

We may work with third party advertising partners to show you ads that we think may interest you. These advertising partners may set and access their own cookies, pixel tags and similar technologies on our Services and they may otherwise collect or have access to information about you which they may collect over time and across different online services.

If you do not wish to receive personalized ads, please visit their opt-out pages to learn about how you may opt out of receiving web-based personalized ads from member companies. You can access any settings offered by your mobile operating system to limit ad tracking, or you can install the AppChoices mobile app to learn more about how you may opt out of personalized ads in mobile apps.

As Required By Law and Similar Disclosures. We may access, preserve, and disclose your information if we believe doing so is required or appropriate to: (a) comply with law enforcement requests and legal process, such as a court order or subpoena; (b) respond to your requests; or (c) protect your, our, or others’ rights, property, or safety. For the avoidance of doubt, the disclosure of your information may occur if you post any objectionable content on or through the Services.

Merger, Sale, or Other Asset Transfers. We may disclose and transfer your information to service providers, advisors, potential transactional partners, or other third parties in connection with the consideration, negotiation, or completion of a corporate transaction in which we are acquired by or merged with another company or we sell, liquidate, or transfer all or a portion of our business or assets.

Consent. We may also disclose information from or about you or your devices with your permission.

Your Choices

Marketing Communications. 

You can unsubscribe from our promotional emails via the link provided in the emails. Even if you opt-out of receiving promotional messages from us, you will continue to receive administrative messages from us.

Do Not Track. 

There is no accepted standard on how to respond to Do Not Track signals, and we do not respond to such signals.

If you choose not to provide us with information we collect, some features of our Services may not work as intended.

Third Parties

Our Services may contain links to other websites, products, or services that we do not own or operate. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. Please be aware that this Privacy Policy does not apply to your activities on these third party services or any information you disclose to these third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before providing any information to them.

Security

We make reasonable efforts to protect the information we collect from or about you or your devices by using physical and electronic safeguards designed to improve the security of the information we maintain. However, as our Services are hosted electronically, we can make no guarantees as to the security or privacy of such information.

Children’s Privacy

We do not knowingly collect, maintain, or use personal information from children under 13 years of age, and no part of our Services are directed to children. If you learn that a child has provided us with personal information in violation of this Privacy Policy, please alert us via the Contact Information section, below.

International Visitors

Our Services are hosted in the South Africa and intended for visitors located in South Africa and the rest of the Globe. If you choose to use the Services from the European Union or other regions of the world with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from South African law, then please note that you are transferring your personal information outside of those regions to South Africa for storage and processing. Also, we may transfer your data from South Africa to other countries or regions in connection with storage and processing of data, fulfilling your requests, and operating the Services. By providing any information, including personal information, on or to the Services, you consent to such transfer, storage, and processing.
